Shipping Policy

Products purchased on this site can be shipped to any legitimate PHYSICAL ADDRESS within the United States of America, primarily using FedEx and UPS as carriers for parcel shipments and reputable LTL carriers for larger shipments.  If your SHIP TO ADDRESS is served directly by FedEx or UPS, there should have no problem getting your order to you.  We DO NOT ship to post office boxes.  Even though we try hard to serve customers small and large regardless of their geographical location within the USA, including residences, businesses and other institutions, various carriers may have regulations or policies in place which prevent delivery to some residential or non-business locations.   We will advise you and refund your payment in any situation where your SHIP TO site cannot be safely and properly serviced.

We work diligently to process all orders within 1 to 2 business days following receipt of your order and payment in full via our webstore.  Upon successful webstore purchase and payment, you will receive an email confirmation of your order which will include your receipt.  This initial email response generates automatically and should arrive in your inbox within 10-15 minutes following payment under normal conditions.  A second email notification will be sent once your order has shipped.  This second message will confirm exactly what is being shipped and include a carrier name and tracking information.

Shipping delays can and do occur.  Delays are not always directly tied to a “transport” issue.  At times, our customers order products in unusual “spurts” or in larger-than-anticipated quantities.  We respond to all orders as rapidly and efficiently as possible, but we always respect the TIME STAMP associated with each order we receive, regardless of product or package size ordered, and ship on a first-come first-served basis.  At times, a manufacturer or large distributor may run low on supply, and in today’s world of supply chain challenges (including raw material shortages, both regional and worldwide), embargoes or port delays tied to international conflicts, force majeure’ events such as natural disasters, among other unpredictable events can negatively impact the timing of and/or our ability to process and fulfill your order. As for transport companies themselves, unprecedented service challenges continue to impact service levels, with manpower and equipment shortages causing delays that often have a “ripple effect” around the nation or even the entire world.

Fulfillment of SPECIAL ORDERS is one of our legacy services, but production schedules and lead times associated with special orders (as well as transit times from source to our warehouse) can cause added delays.  If you are concerned about the time it will take to process and transport your order, please contact our sales team directly to discuss options that may be available for your situation.  We will always provide ongoing updates via email (or telephone in some situations) regarding delays.

Please keep in mind that many chemical products are hazardous.  Hazards vary in scope both in terms of potential harm as well as the complexity of regulations that govern them.  Hazardous chemicals always require extra care, strict safety protocols, specialized packaging, special and/or unique labeling, and often special handling while in transit and out for delivery to your site.  Specific chemical products require an even higher level of service and are typically assessed “hazmat” fees, even when ordered in small quantities.  Often the specialized service required in transporting and delivering such chemicals may require additional lead time.  Some chemicals cannot be transported together with food products, pharmaceuticals or higher-purity products.  All such regulations and policies are designed with SAFETY and HUMAN HEALTH foremost in mind.  Our technical staff can offer alternate shipping methods or different purchase methods in many situations.  Please contact us for details.

FREIGHT / SHIPPING RATES:

It is important to understand that ALL PRICES listed within our webstore are offered FOB SHIPPING POINT (Incoterm: EX WORKS).  This simply means that your purchase will always require an added Freight / Shipping charge.  This charge will display as a separate line item at checkout and will have been calculated based on current rates to your SHIP TO location and may include other incidental or accessorial fees, including hazmat fees.  We use only reputable carriers, and always tap several resources to secure the best service available at the lowest cost possible.  Just as with prices for chemicals, Freight / Shipping charges and fees can change unexpectedly, sometimes simply due to use of a different carrier.  We will always work to honor freight / shipping charges as invoiced and paid at time of checkout, but there may be occasions where we must pass along unexpected or unusual changes to these rates and fees.  We will notify you in advance in any such situation.

You will have the option at checkout to select your own carrier, one with which you may have an existing account or relationship.  We strive to accommodate such requests to the extent possible and to ensure that your selected carrier submits invoices directly to you.  For orders placed under these conditions, we will normally not add any Freight / Shipping / Accessorial Fees to your purchase.  For example, if your organization has a FedEx or a UPS account, you can select that option and privately enter your account information with that carrier at the time you finalize your online purchase.  Doing so will cause the Freight / Shipping charges to come directly to you rather than to us.

International Shipping:

At the present time, we do not offer international Freight / Shipping.  We can accept orders only from bona fide Buyers whose physical delivery location is within the United States of America.

Local Delivery & In-Store Pickup:

For those who have their own transport equipment and capability of picking up their order at our facility in Centerville, Utah, we offer WILL CALL SERVICE.  There are generally no Freight / Shipping charges associated with WILL-CALL orders.  You will have the option at checkout to select WILL CALL SERVICE.  Doing so will generally negate any charges other than for the chemical product itself.  WILL CALL SERVICE is available from 8am to 4pm weekdays.  Closed weekends and holidays.

Hazardous Chemicals:

Please be advised that we cannot ship hazardous chemicals to residential addresses, including home-based businesses, as noted during checkout.  For any non-exempt chemical product, a business / industrial / commercial shipping address is required upon checkout. Be advised that we must ship chemicals to the business entity that has a legal intended use for the specific chemicals being ordered. If a residential address is used at checkout when purchasing non-exempt chemicals, we are required to cancel your order.

How do I check the status of my order?

You will be notified proactively by an automated email confirmation / receipt once your order has been finalized and paid in full at checkout.  This notice will also provide an estimated date of shipment.  Should this date need to be adjusted, you will receive a separate email message with details.  Once your order has shipped, you will receive a new email that provides confirmation of shipment along with a copy of the order details as well as carrier name and tracking information.

Special Orders, Special Requests, and Expedited Services:

Special Orders, Rush Orders, Expedited Shipment/Delivery and Will-Call Orders requiring fulfillment or service during non-business hours shall incur additional charges.  Please inquire in advance for details.
